What is Fondation Olo?

Fondation Olo’s mission is to give all families an equal chance of bringing a healthy baby into the world and of introducing them to healthy eating habits early on. It acts in the first 1,000 days of a child’s life—a crucial time in their development.
To give babies a healthy start in life, the Fondation offers tailored follow-up care to pregnant women in need by providing prenatal multivitamins and food vouchers.
To help families adopt healthy eating habits, it also provides educational tools and professional advice to encourage three behaviours: eating well, cooking, and eating together as a family.
Each year, the Fondation reaches more than 15,000 pregnant women, and, since 1991, has helped more than 250,000 babies to be born in better health throughout Quebec.

How do Les Marchés Tradition and Marché Bonichoix stores support Fondation Olo?

Grocers from Les Marchés Tradition and Marché Bonichoix stores have been involved with Fondation Olo since 2016, carrying out numerous fundraising initiatives each year—all with the goal of providing a healthy future for babies!
Through fundraising at checkouts, campaigns with suppliers and countless local initiatives, our grocers play a significant role in the lives of families in their communities and across the province. Since 2019, they have even become a Major Partner of the Fondation Olo, which recognizes annual donations of $100,000 or more.
Alain Ménard, Senior Vice President, Retail Operations at Sobeys, is also a proud member of the Fondation’s Board of Directors.

How to get involved

Fundraising campaigns across the store network primarily run in spring, but you can contribute year-round by contacting your Les Marchés Tradition or Marché Bonichoix grocer to make a donation to the Fondation, or by donating directly online.
